Executive Director of Zanzibar Investment Promotion Authority Mr. Shariff A. Shariff has met with leadership of the College of Business Education (CBE) from Dar es Salaam, who are interested in building the campus of the University in Zanzibar. Professor Wainestar Anderson who is the leader of delegation told the Executive Director their determination to establish the University here in Zanzibar and give training to youth who completed form two and failed to continue with higher education.

The project will cost a total of 10.12 billion shillings. The government through ZIPA will give you a total of 10 acres in the free economic areas of Fumba for the construction of the campus.
