Management

The Zanzibar Investment Promotion Authority (ZIPA) Management is entrusted to the Executive Director who is in charge of the day to day activities of the Authority. ZIPA has six (06) departments under the Executive Director which are:-

• Human Resources and Administration
• Investment Planning, Research and Development
• Investment Promotion and Marketing
• Investment Facilitation and Services
• Free Economic Zones and Development and
• Pemba Bureau

Apart from the above six (06) departments, there are five (07) units which report directly to Executive Director. These Units are headed by the Head of the Unit. These are as follow:-

• Easy of Doing Business Unit
• Legal Affairs Unit
• Procurement Unit
• Public Relation Unit
• Internal Audit Unit
• Accounting Unit and
• Information Communication and Technology Unit
