 Zanzibar Investment Promotion Authority hosted a technical meeting with an Egyptian delegation of Hegazy Group company specializing in poultry, livestock and agriculture. The delegation was accompanied by H.E Ambassador Dr. Emmanuel John Nchimbi, The Ambassador of  Tanzania in Egypt.  This meeting was co-chaired by the Director of Investment Promotion and Marketing in ZIPA and attended by directors from the Ministry of agriculture, irrigation, natural resources and livestock Zanzibar, Ministry of trade and industrial development  Zanzibar and other stakeholders responsible for agriculture and trade in Zanzibar. The meeting was informative because of the in depth discussion on the investment potential areas in the agricultural sector as a whole. Hegazy Group company representatives expressed their interest in investing in Zanzibar especial in the areas of fruits and vegetables production and processing in the islands.
